FAQ For Our Partners
Are you considering hosting a dental assisting school with us but have some questions that need answering? Here are some of our most frequently asked questions:
How do I know your students will have the skills needed in my office?
In our processes, we review state regulations and educational requirements for dental assistants before we decide to have a location in a particular state. We want to make sure we are able to give our students everything they need to be successful in the field. We license each location through the state’s board of education. We want our students to know the basics and be an asset to your team, so we make sure we are able to include Radiology training. Along with that we focus on the basics - terminology, tooth numbers and surfaces, impressions, dental software, and front desk procedures. We know having technical skills is important, but we also focus on the soft skills required to be a good employee. Each class day is coupled with a portion of our life coaching curriculum.
How do I start a dental assisting school through you?
You can start with a phone call to our team! We complete a needs assessment of your market to determine if a partnership would be beneficial to both parties, and from there can work on a contract. After that, we begin gathering paperwork needed for licensing and submission to the state board. In total, this process can take anywhere from 3 - 12 months.
Will students get in the way of my day-to-day operations?
No! Our classes are held on Saturdays during non-operational hours. If you’re worried about possible damage to your office or equipment, we also have insurance coverage to ensure that everything is taken care of.
How involved do I need to be in this process?
We want you to feel this partnership is as hands-off as possible. For that we have several departments to make sure our courses can run smoothly without much support from you.
Our licensing department is focused on making sure our application is complete and submitted to the state board, as well as keeping our license active each year. During the initial setup of our partnership, we will need some support from you on gathering some documents pertaining to the facility that will be needed in our application we submit. Once we are approved, we take care of the rest.
Our marketing department handles all marketing campaigns to make sure we can find interested applicants for our school. Our admissions department helps facilitate enrollment and makes sure all students have the necessary paperwork to enroll in our program. Our finance department handles all student financials. Our Operations department makes sure each course runs smoothly by keeping up with our curriculum, instructor relations, student relations, and our relationship with you.
